Kate is sleeping better …..

Thank you Lord for answering our prayers! You are interested in every aspect of our lives – helping Kate to adjust well to her new bedtime routine.

We finally moved Kate into her own room on Monday night and what a wonderful thing that was. It has only been 2 nights but the second night was better than the first night and I am believing that it will just get better until she learns to fall asleep on her own and re-settle herself and eventually sleep through the night.

I reckon she is getting closer to the amount of sleep a baby her age needs. Good good …

Ba Ba, Da Da, hopefully Ma Ma soon

Our lttle darling has been babbling and trying out new expressions lately. She said Ba Ba last week and Da Da more distinctly yesterday. We hope to be able to catch it on video soon as she seems to know that we are trying to film her and she just stops babbling .. hmmz .. does the same thing with expressions when we are looking at her.

Ma Ma is going to come soon .. I can feel it .. whee

She loves being on her tummy .. rolls over whenever she is placed on a mat or on the bed or pretty much anywhere. Which makes changing her a challenge .. hehe … she might start crawling real soon as we have seen her push herself up with her hands and feet (butt high in the air .. so cute).

We just moved her cot into her own room yesterday night. Not a happy camper our little darling … Daddy and Mommy ended up accompanying her for a little while last night. How funny would it be if we moved into her room with her .. haha .. please pray for us as we train her to sleep on her own. Pray for patience and consistency on our part and ease of learning on her part. Thanks heaps
