All in a week

What has lil Kate been up to this week .. heaps I would say

1. She took a couple of steps unaided, a couple of times
2. Her 5th tooth is showing
3. She called me “Mommy” last night. Loud and clear. Daddy heard it. FINALLY!
4. Tries to say “Amen” after praying. Sounds like “Mmam”
5. Plays “Peek-A-B00″ with her daddy by tilting her head to the side. Awww .. so sweet.
6. Tried scrambled eggs with mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese. Loves it.
7. Tried to mop the floor for me the other day. Hilarious.
8. Although not really playing with the shape sorter, she is taking blocks out and putting them back in.
9. She can point out certain pictures from books.
10. She is starting to identify certain body parts although she kinda gets confused sometimes.
11. She no longer needs to use the shampoo rinse cup. Water running down her face doesn’t affect her as much as before.
12. ooh she is just so chatty and expressive .. haha .. oooh I love her sooo much .. my baby girl!!!!!!

I love my stereo

Kate loves playing with the stereo in her room. She is fascinated with the buttons and sounds it produces.

I press this button and the blue LCD backlight comes on …groovy
I press this button and there’s music .. Mommy look at me boogie
I turn this dial and the music gets louder …. yikes .. help ..too loud

Today, she found the most interesting button .

I press this button and the stereo’s tongue stuck out at me .. hey wait …there is something round and shiny on the tongue … ooh .. nice

Mommy must have heard me hitting the CD against the legs of the cot … oh oh .. no more new toy … boo hoo hoo
